# Calendly

## About Calendly

Calendly is a scheduling automation platform for meetings and appointments. Connecting Calendly to Serval enables automated event management and scheduling workflows directly from your service desk.

## What the Calendly integration enables

| Capability           | Description                                                                                                                                |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Automation workflows | Automate event creation, rescheduling, and cancellation. Retrieve user availability, manage meeting links, and generate scheduling reports |

Anything defined in the [Calendly API v2](https://developer.calendly.com/api-docs/c2NoOjI2MDE2NzE-introduction) can be accessed through Serval.

## Calendly Configuration

### Prerequisites

* Access to your Calendly account with permissions to generate API tokens

### Create a Personal Access Token

1. Log in to your Calendly account
2. Go to **Integrations** → **API & Webhooks**
3. Under **Personal Access Tokens**, click **Get a token now** (or **Generate new token** if you have existing tokens)
4. Enter a name for your token (e.g., "Serval Integration")
5. Click **Create Token**, then **Copy token**

> **Important**: Tokens are only shown once. Copy and save it immediately.

## Serval Configuration

1. In Serval go to **Apps → Available → Calendly → Connect**

2. Enter the following information:

   | Field                 | Description                                                                 |
   | --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
   | Instance Name         | A friendly name for this integration instance (e.g., "Production Calendly") |
   | Personal Access Token | A personal access token generated for your Calendly account.                |

3. Click **Save**
